Library day in the life - round 7

I have participated in a few Library Day in the Life rounds (for all the info and a link to the wiki which lists all participants with their blogs and twitter accounts, see an older post) using Twitter and last time more exhaustive blogging. Good intentions this time fell by the wayside as work and other stuff took over but by the wonders of technology (looking at my sent emails, my Nirvana to do list and my calendar) I have pieced together some fragments of my week.
